Are you handy?

With the major infrastructure of the boat completed there is still much finishing work to be done above deck. We are always on the lookout for people with practical skills who can assist with these jobs. When our boat is back in operation

When the boat is ready to start taking passengers, later in 2012, we will have ongoing opportunities for volunteers to work as deck crew, as volunteers in our museum and behind the scenes on committee work and projects to expand the activities of the Society.

The State of the Lake

The return of water to the Lake in recent years was matched by extraordinary growth in water plants. An extensive weed cutting program was instituted and the rampant growth has now been largely managed.

With the weed now broadly under control, there are no environmental barriers to the boat resuming operation on the Lake.
